Twitter Follow ME!!!

In this post I will be discussing Twitter and how I use it. I also will discuss the origins of Twitter, and how it  became part of our everyday lives, and from hearing about it constantly in the news, sports, and entertainment.

Twitter (https://twitter.com/?lang=en) is an online social networking service that enables users to send and read short 140-character messages called "tweets". Registered users can read and post tweets, but unregistered users can only read them. 
I use Twitter to post tweets, follow popular users or close friends and family. Twitter was created in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, Noah Glass, and Evan Williams. The service rapidly gained worldwide popularity, with more than 100 million users who in 2012 posted 340 million tweets per day.

Jack Dorsey grew liking electronics and trains. He stayed next to the train in the city of St. Louis, MO. He had a toy train set and a old PA radio announcer to hear what police and hospital ambulance workers were saying. "The definition was 'a short burst of inconsequential information,' and 'chirps from birds'. And that's exactly what the product was Twitter."

Twitter is one of the most popular social media's because everyone from the president and famous celebrities to young kids in middle school and their parents have a twitter account. Twitter has become so popular that many people receive the most up-to-date headline news from politics, entertainment, weather, and business news from tweets.

Twitter is a social network site that is competing with basic television news. News is now instant with the help of social media like Twitter. Politicians, entertainers, news stations, and business owner's can now send instant tweets  http://computer.howstuffworks.com/tweets like messages to their 1000s of followers to read.
