TV Studio Lighting Demonstration

TV Studio Lighting

The three main light sources in studio lighting is the key light, back light, and fill light.

This Demonstration shows each one of those lights shining by themselves to show the differences between them.
The improvement of the lighting is plain to see.

Individual Person Report

Individual Person on the Street Report

I interviewed some of the Marching 101 band students just to find out how they felt about the band this year and some of the changes that were made.

I also asked the band students about their instruments of choice and what they plan to do after leaving the Marching 101 Band of SCSU.

chapter 7 homework

1. Interviews provide the little moments of emphasis that punctuate the story. They provide essential detail, and help give stories spirit and atmosphere, an impart a sense of spontaneity that would otherwise be lost.

2. Brief chats over coffee, and not being afraid to reveal something of yourself, and having self confidence.

3. Body language

5. Help them focus on familiar work and surroundings

6.

8. Anyone can ask anyone  else questions, but the interviewer can only succeed by asking informed questions that are based on knowing everything about the subject.

Picture in Picture

Green Screen Picture In Picture

In this post I shot a video of the Teen Titians, MTV's Ridiculousness, and MLS(pro-soccer). Once I shot my clips from the shows I recorded myself explaining the clips while at the same time showed the clips as I spoke.

Final Blog Post

The Electronic Media Production 2 course of fall 2015 taught by Mr. Patrick Harwood has been very educational and hands on. We learned how to use various social media and electronic media production applications.

The whole class had to make Twitter accounts for an assignment to show that we are active in tweeting and that we have a lengthy list of followers.

In class we also had to create a LinkedIn account to demonstrate the new social media landscape for young professionals connecting and networking with other professionals an entrepreneurs.

Prezi is an unique PowerPoint presentation that makes slideshows easy to do and understand. I only used the program twice, one prezi was called, How The Federalist Papers Persuaded a Nation, and my other  prezi. is called Future Technology.

The Green Screen was a fun in class hands on project that really gave me the feel of media production in the broadcasting field. We used the green screen to show a picture in picture view of ourselves critiquing and explaining videos of our choice, but recommended at least one sports or news event to show.

Kizoa is another PowerPoint slideshow that allows you to be creative in showing various topics to your viewer. This semester I learned so much from Mr. Harwood and all the electronic programs that anyone can use to promote yourself in the broadcasting journalism field.
